CHART Workshop 2023
CHART, which stands for Swiss Accelerator Research and Technology, is a Swiss collaboration intended to support the future oriented accelerator project FCC (Future Circular Collider) at CERN and the development of accelerator concepts beyond the existing technology. Researchers from the various groups active in CHART met at PSI on October 10, 2023 for the annual CHART Workshop and presented the status of their CHART-related activities.
The Group of Applied Superconductivity contributed to the event with two presentations: one from Gianmarco Bovone, on the development of Nb3Sn multifilamentary wires with enhanced current carrying capabilities (link), the other from Carmine Senatore on multiphysical characterization of Nb3Sn wires and of REBCO coated conductors (link).
