IEEE CSC Italy Chapter Workshop in Rome
Under the auspices of the IEEE Council on Superconductivity, the Department of Engineering of the University Roma Tre (Rome, Italy) hosted on June 13, 2022 the IEEE CSC Italy Chapter Workshop “Applied Superconductivity in Italy 2022”. The workshop had over 40 participants and was an opportunity to present an overview of national and international projects on applied superconductivity with important contributions from Italian universities and research institutions. Prof. Carmine Senatore was the special guest of the workshop and gave an invited talk entitled “Frontiers of Nb3Sn conductor technology for applications in high field accelerator magnets”, focusing on the most recent results obtained in the frame of the collaboration between CERN and UNIGE.
