CHART Workshop 2022
CHART, which stands for Swiss Accelerator Research and Technology, is a Swiss collaboration intended to support the future oriented accelerator project FCC (Future Circular Collider) at CERN and the development of accelerator concepts beyond the existing technology. Researchers from the various groups active in CHART met at PSI on June 9, 2022 for the CHART Workshop 2022 and presented the status of their CHART-related activities. Carmine Senatore gave an overview of the results obtained in the frame of the two collaboration projects with CERN, one on the development of high-performance Nb3Sn wires, the other on advanced characterization methods of superconducting wires, both running under the umbrella of CHART.
