HiTAT: The 1st Workshop on High Temperature superconductors for Accelerator Technology at CERN
CERN hosted the 1st workshop on High Temperature superconductor Accelerator Technology (HiTAT) on March 9 and 10, 2023. The focus of the program was on the latest advances in REBCO coated conductor technology for use in accelerator magnets, including post HL-LHC high energy colliders, hadron therapy and beam lines. The event was organized under the auspices of H2020-I.FAST project.
Prof. Carmine Senatore was invited to give a talk entitled “Electrical properties of REBCO tapes and scaling law”, presenting an overview of the investigations carried out at UNIGE on the most recent conductors developed in industry.
