FCC week 2019 in Brussels
The 5th Annual Meeting of the Future Circular Collider Study took place from 24 to 28 June 2019. This conference was also the final event of the EU funded H2020 EuroCirCol Design Study. More than 400 leading minds in science, engineering and economics met in Brussels, Belgium to present the results of the first phase of the FCC study and to discuss and set the near-term goals for the coming years.
Carmine Senatore gave an invited talk (link) on the advances in high temperature superconductors and the perspectives of their use in high field dipole magnets. The most recent results on the development of Nb3Sn wires with enhanced critical current were reported in the poster (link) of Florin Buta.
